[ Videl was a little confused when she saw a message on her device from Sorey, since, well, honestly, they lived on the same floor. It was just as easy to just come up to the door and knock if they wanted to talk.

So she answers as soon as she sees it. Maybe he just didn't want to wake her up early. Or maybe something was wrong. Either way...]

Hey Sorey. What do you need?

[ He doesn't answer back immediately, expression falling a bit. ]

I was wondering... Is it common to wake up in a different place here?

...Not that I'm aware of, no.

[... And now she's worried. But based on what he was saying, it was possible that Sorey didn't even know where he was anymore.]

I think the only time where that's normal to happen is if you get drunk enough to black out... but I have a feeling if that's what happened you probably wouldn't be calling me.

[ Yeah, that's definitely not the case here. But, Sorey can't help but hope that those who drink that much end up alright. ]

I'm in the Down. Though, I didn't just wake up here, it looks lime my paperwork was changed.

It could be possible that I'm the first one that this has happened to.

[ Videl doesn't say anything in response to that for a few moments, because processing that was... well, difficult. Because it didn't make any sense, but Sorey would be the one to know. ]

I... can't help but wonder if it's because I haven't formed a contract yet.

Well, I guess it's not surprising we wouldn't have heard about it. I mean, we haven't exactly met anyone who arrived here before us...

But that's really the only thing I can think of that would make them do that. [ Well, no, trying to overthrow the government might result in that too, but she was pretty sure she would have heard about it if Sorey had tried to do that.]

I did hear that they tend to act if you don't go along with their rules.
