Well, yeah, if I go against you with you using a sword we're definitely going to want to make sure you're using a practice one. [ Sure with ki, it's possible to block a sword, but with the way all powers work she wouldn't trust that now even if she were sure she were strong enough. ]

...Though I guess that might depend on how much a practice sword would cost here. We might have to start with both of us doing hand to hand, then move on to you using a sword against me later.

I will have to see that, in the meanwhile we can start with hand to hand combat- even if I admit I'm not exactly good at it and you may have to be patient at first.

I'm doing alright. We can pretty much meet up whenever you want, I haven't really settled into any routine yet, so my time is mostly open.

I understand that. I didn't really get around to finding a gym I like either. Though I guess I still have time, it's not like I can really make much training progress without a steady supply of Manna.

I mean, yeah, but it won't seriously injure me. By that logic even hand to hand is a problem.

But yeah, if we start with hand to hand stuff I'm not going to be too annoyed if I end up teaching you more than getting a decent workout.

You should try it. Or at least dancing. Then again the only dance moves I know are an awful lot like fighting so.

Yeah, I probably will at some point. Probably not going to be a good dancer, but it's not like any of the reasons that I avoided going to one matter here.

And yeah, a park's probably the best bet. Easier than trying to find a gym that's geared towards martial arts, anyway.

A park would work. I'm not going to be doing anything with ki that could be too destructive, I'm not all that good at making the bigger ki blasts.

Yeah, basically. I have a couple of people I know here, but no one that I can say I know enough to be consistent about it.

Like, this guy named Riku offered to help me with that but that's mostly because I need Manna to show off my powers and we're both looking for sparring partners. Who knows how consistent that's going to be?

Not necessarily. You could still hurt me. Maybe.

As for when to start... that's a good question. One of the parks is probably a good idea. [ It's where everyone else is suggesting they go and it's not like she found a good martial arts gym yet.]

I'm pretty much free whenever though, so we can start whenever you have the time.

Of course I am. The last thing I want to do is accidentally cough up fire again. And you're right, meeting there is easy enough for sure.

Yeah, that sounds like him. I haven't actually met him in person yet, but based on his pic I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same guy.

Honestly, other than some equipment to easily denote ring boundaries, not much that's important. At least when it comes to sparring with only hand to hand. Other aspects of training are easier in a gym, especially if you need a practice weapon or something for your style.

That's what I thought. It would be nice to find one then. I've practiced with a lot of different weapons before.

[She and all of her sisters were expected to pick up a weapon and be a master of it in moments. Or at least improvise to survive.]

Don't worry, I'll be sure to let you know once I find one that I like.

I don't have much training with weapons myself, but maybe that should be something else that I try to pick up while here.

So yeah, you should have at least one good Manna source set up. Two, actually, counting me. I mean, sure, we'll have to actually set up times to meet up and stuff, but that shouldn't be a big problem.
